20th Hispanic/Latino Book Fair

Honoring the work of the Ecuadorian-Puerto Rican Ernesto Quiñonez. He is an acclaimed novelist, essayist, screenwriter, a Sundance Screen Writers Lab fellow, and Storyteller of the Month. He is an Associate Professor in the English Department at Cornell University. Among the publications are Bodega Dreams, Chango’s Fire, and Taina. The settings of his novels are in his neighborhood of Spanish Harlem, New York, and how globalization, capitalism, and systematic racism dating back to the 1960s gave rise to gentrification and other social maladies affecting Latinx communities.
Opening Ceremony. Friday October 9th. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
Program will continue Saturday, October 10th and Sunday, October 11th from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
