Astronomy and Planetary Science with The Afterschool Collective
October 8 @ 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm
Celebrate Space Month in October! What keeps planets in their orbits? Why do moons matter — and why were they so critical to military strategy in the Star Wars universe? You’ll build a working model of the solar system and observe how gravity affects the orbit of planets and moons. Science and story come together in a program that makes the cosmos feel both vast and wonderfully familiar.
