Candles Crafternoon

In July, we painted cardboard candles for a special Visibility Brigade to remember those who died in ICE custody this year. Unfortunately, the list has grown since then, and we want to bring these names into the neighborhood. So we’re gathering to prepare the remaining candles, which will be hung in the neighborhood at a separate event.

Come paint, create, and help us make sure every name is represented. No art experience is needed; we’ll have the materials and templates ready to go.

Bring yourself and anyone who would like to help. We’ll provide art supplies and light refreshments.
