What is gouache? A beginner-friendly Workshop
Learn about many artists secret weapon medium. Gouache is water mixable paint that can be used by itself for rich pigmented colors and diluted to get the transparency of a watercolor. It’s a favorite medium for a lot of the illustrations and stickers you fall in love with as well as great animation storyboards. Led by Chris Gomez, artist and museum educator.
This class will focus on getting comfortable with the medium, picking and making a palette, mixing colors, and layering to create a botanical illustration of your own.
