Jackson Heights Indivisible Monthly In-Person Meeting

Jackson Heights Indivisible is a group of neighbors working together to take action on issues we’re passionate about at the local, state and national levels. We are committed to building collective power while fostering a welcoming, inclusive, and energizing space for all.

We support advocacy efforts across a range of issues, including:

• immigration justice
• election & policy education
• standing up to the corrupt Trump regime
• opposing the Metropolitan Park casino
• LGBTQIA+ rights
• climate justice

We believe that strong movements are rooted in community. That means creating space not just for action, but also for connection, joy, and mutual support. We aim to cultivate a progressive environment that respects diverse perspectives while staying grounded in shared values.

Our ongoing activities include:

• community outreach
• “Know Your Rights” (KYR) business canvassing
• whistle kit assembly & distribution
• book club
• social events
