John Benitez Tuesday Jam – Bebop-Latin Jazz Jam

A monthly Latin jazz jam by Acoustic Memories at Terraza 7, presented in part with the support of Flushing Town Hall. Musicians of all levels are welcome to sit in with the house band led by renowned bassist John Benitez.
Presented by Acoustic Memories, with support from The New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) and Flushing Town Hall.

About John Benitez:
In the world of Latin jazz and Latin American music, John Benitez is widely regarded as one of the greatest bassists of his generation. A six-time GRAMMY Award winner, he has performed and recorded with some of the most influential artists in jazz and Latin music, from Tito Puente to Chick Corea, leaving an undeniable mark on the genre.
