Know Your Queens:

Join us for “Know Your Queens: Celebrating Women Leaders of Southeast Queens,” a special Women’s History Month Leadership Mixer presented by Council Member Ty Hankerson on Wednesday, March 19, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

This inspiring evening will recognize six remarkable women from Southeast Queens who exemplify leadership, service, and dedication to uplifting their communities. The event is designed to celebrate their contributions while bringing together residents, professionals, and community leaders for an evening of connection, recognition, and empowerment.

The program will begin with a Mocktail Hour, featuring music, light refreshments, and opportunities for guests to network and engage with fellow attendees. Following the reception, the program will transition into a special honoree recognition segment, where each honoree will be introduced with a brief biography and invited to share a short reflection on leadership, service, and the significance of Women’s History Month.

The evening will conclude with a community networking session, encouraging attendees to meet and connect with new people while building relationships that strengthen collaboration and leadership across Southeast Queens.
