Queens Hispanic Day Parade

October 4 @ 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm

Update: This parade was postponed from September 27 due to the nor’easter and merged into the Queens Dominican Day Parade on Sunday, October 4.

A vibrant celebration of Hispanic heritage and culture featuring colorful floats, traditional dance performances, live music, community groups, and local leaders.

37th Avenue – 69th Street to 89th Street

Americans celebrate their Hispanic roots in the 21 Spanish-speaking countries with marchers showing Latin music, dance, traditional costumes, floats, food, and more.
Theme: Unidos Somos Más (United We Are More)
37th Avenue
From 69th to 86th St
Jackson Heights, Queens
Sun, October 4 2026 | 12pm

Originally scheduled for Sun, September 27, 2026, the parade has been moved to Sunday, October 4, 2026 because of the big storm hitting NYC this weekend. What we’re doing is joining the Queens Dominican Parade scheduled on that day. That’s great because Dominicans have long believed in the Pan-Latin concept of us as one people.

Nearly 100 cultural, civic, and business groups are expected to march.

Queens Hispanic Parade 2026 Court:

Queen: Genesis Vaca
Princess: Veis Ríos
International Ambassador: Carina Gómez
Reina de Reinas: Gina Vásquez
Beautiful Forever: Angie Florales
Congratulations to the 2026 court. You represent us all proudly.

A plaque was presented to the family of María Bueso, a founding member of the Queens Hispanic Parade and of the Fundación Siempre Colombia, at the parade’s gala at Terrace on the Park in Flushing Meadows Corona Park.

This year’s theme is right on. Together we are strong. It’s worth noting that our country, the United States of America, has the world’s second-largest Spanish speaking population, after Mexico. Somos muy orgulloso para mantener la idioma de nuestros padres. It even makes us better Americans.

And it’s really important this year for American citizens to vote for members of Congress who represent all of us. Latinos have more political power than ever. Two years ago, many of us voted for a strongman character who hates Latinos and all people of color. It’s time to take our country back by voting because we are Americans too.
