Ridgewood Runners 5K

Ridgewood Runners is a community-based run club founded in 2023 in Ridgewood, Queens, built on the idea that running should feel joyful, inclusive, and for everyone. What started as a small group has grown into a vibrant crew of runners of all levels who show up each week to move, connect, and support one another.

We meet weekly for runs around Ridgewood and Bushwick, along with special events and collaborations throughout the year. Our goal is to create a community that lifts each other up, inspires growth, and makes the whole journey fun.

The Ridgewood Runners 5K is a celebration of that spirit, bringing our community together for a shared start line at one of our favorite local spots, the Ridgewood Reservoir.

BIB PICKUP

You will have two opportunities to pick up your Race Bib in person on Friday, May 29th, or Race Day, May 30 at a location to be determined.

See event staff starting 1 hour before the event. Register 3 weeks in advance for a personalized bib. Bib number required for pickup; use Self Lookup or Bib Lookup if needed. Last-minute registrants (within 24 hours) will receive their bib number by text within 90 seconds.

TRANSPORTATION

If you are driving, your best bet is to take a parking spot right next to Ridgewood Reservoir. The Parking Lot opens at 8AM. There will be plenty of street parking along Highland Blvd and Cypress Avenue. The closest train station is Norwood Avenue on the J/Z line.
