STEM Collective Workshop Series: Microplastics & Sustainability

Are you a teen interested in sustainability? Please join the STEM Collective Workshop Series this fall at Jackson Heights!

Teens will practice research, mock interviews, interviews with mentors in STEM, and collaboratively work on a project presentation!

All teens participating in the workshop series will receive seven community service hours & a $50 gift card!

Workshop 1: Introduction to the topic and collaborate on project ideas.

Workshop 2: Research on the topic and create a plan for the collaborative project.

Workshop 3: Participate in mock interviews with each other.

Workshop 4: Present to peers for feedback and generate interview questions for mentors.

Workshop 5: Interview with a mentor in the field and use best practices in asking questions. Final Project Presentations
