Summer Sundays Plus: Alex Owen Quartet

The Alex Owen Quartet, led by Jackson Heights resident Alex Owen on cornet and vocals, specializes in Great American Songbook standards, swing, and classic jazz. This dynamic group brings the lively spirit of New Orleans to every performance. Alex Owen, with deep roots in New Orleans jazz, brings together top New York jazz musicians: Garrett Manley on guitar, Scott Ritchie on bass, and Kevin Dorn on drums. Their performances capture the essence of a New Orleans jazz party, blending traditional swing with a modern twist.
