Cartoons, Comedy, & Cocktails is the band’s newest creation: an evening of adult-themed animated films and soundtracks, presented alongside two outstanding comedians: Yvette Segan and Vladimir Caamaño. The films are, frankly, bizarre. And so is the music. The whole experience is nothing like anything you’ve ever seen! It’s variety, it’s multi-media, it’s hilarious. It’s weird.

Performing scores from over 100 years of animated films, the band synchronizes their virtuosic jazz performances with cartoons projected on stage. The six members of The Queen’s Cartoonists, now based in Queens, New York, hail from four continents. They have performed at prestigious venues worldwide, including opening for the New York Philharmonic, selling out the Blue Note Jazz Club, a residency at Konzerthaus Berlin, and an extended run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Featured in over 50 major publications, including The Wall Street Journal, The Chicago Tribune, The L.A. Times, NPR’s All Things Considered, and BBC Radio 3, TQC continues to redefine the relationship between jazz and animation.
