The Spiritual Spectrum Salon: Queer and Christian

December 13, 2025 @ 6:30 pm9:00 pm
$20

The Spiritual Spectrum is a salon to discuss spirituality in community. People of any belief or no belief are welcome. Each month we feature a guest speaker, followed by small group discussion, and Q&A.

Theme: Queer and Christian

Our speaker Reverend Brandan Robertson is Queer activist, a minister in the United Church of Christ who preaches a Christianity that embraces all people. After agonizing years of repressing his gay identity, he discovered that God’s table had always had a place for him. He’ll discuss his journey and how the Bible embraces Queer people, including “Queer Saints” you may not have heard of.

After his interview there will be small group discussion and a Q&A.
Saturday December 13, 6:30-9pm Astoria
