About Yayo Serka:
Yayo Serka is a Grammy and Latin Grammy Award-winning drummer, percussionist, and producer from Tierra del Fuego, Chile. With over three decades of artistic practice, Serka has become one of the most sought-after collaborators in global music. He is best known for his long-standing creative partnerships with Lila Downs, Angelique Kidjo, and Claudia Acuña, and his work has also enriched projects by visionary artists including Philip Glass, The Chieftains, and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
