Hey neighbor! The Jackson Heights forecast lately seems to be: warm, sunny, possibly stormy, then unexpectedly beautiful. We may not know whether to carry sunglasses or an umbrella, but the dramatic clouds do make for some wonderful sunsets, like the one below.
Luckily, our neighborhood appetite is much more predictable. The monthly Dinner Club meets again tonight, whatever the weather decides to do. You sign up, answer a few questions and get matched with five neighbors for dinner at a local restaurant, followed by an optional group meetup nearby. RSVPs are already closed for this one, but the next dinner will be happening on Tuesday, August 25. You can claim your place by signing up here. Restaurant Week is also giving us another good reason to bring our appetites. Addictive Wine & Tapas, The Queensboro and Romeo’s are all participating. You will find more details further down.
