Les invitamos a este evento benéfico para apoyar a la organización\, que sigue funcionando gracias al trabajo de voluntarios tras el fallecimiento de su fundador\, Ramón Caraballo. La noche contará con una presentación de la banda local False Summit a las 8 p. m.\, y una casa abierta con refrigerios a las 7 p. m.\, el 6 de marzo. Se sugiere una donación de $20 a beneficio de la librería\, pero la asistencia es gratuita. \nSobre la librería:  \nEl año 2003 la librería Barco de Papel abrió sus puertas dispuesta a ser una librería diferente que abordase las necesidades del barrio donde se ubicó\, un barrio que contiene en sí una de las áreas más diversas del mundo. La librería se encuentra en un punto de fácil acceso\, situada en Elmhurst\, en la calle 80 a unos pasos de la avenida Roosevelt. \n  \nNight of Books and Music \nWelcome to Barco de Papel Community Bookstore and Cultural Center\, located at 40-03 80th St\, Jackson Heights\, Queens. You are invited to this benefit event in support of the organization\, which continues to operate thanks to volunteer efforts following the passing of its founder\, Ramón Caraballo. The evening will feature a performance by the local band False Summit at 8:00 p.m.\, and an open house with refreshments at 7:00 p.m. on March 6. A suggested donation of $20 benefits the bookstore\, but attendance is free. \nAbout the bookstore:\nIn 2003\, Barco de Papel opened its doors with the goal of being a different kind of bookstore—one that addressed the needs of the neighborhood in which it was founded\, a neighborhood that is home to one of the most diverse communities in the world. In this vibrant setting\, a bookstore was born specializing in Spanish-language books\, Latin American and Spanish literature\, translated literature\, self-help books\, religion\, biographies\, children’s books\, psychology\, and poetry\, among others.
