Where to Eat in Jackson Heights During NYC Restaurant Week (Winter 2026)

NYC Restaurant Week is one of the city’s great food traditions – a few glorious weeks where reservations actually get made, calendars suddenly clear up, and prix-fixe menus give us an excuse to treat a random weeknight like an event.

And while the program spans all five boroughs, Jackson Heights is keeping things tight and high-quality this winter.

If you like walking to dinner, recognizing the faces around you, and eating really well without the Manhattan circus, this guide is for you.

Let’s get into it. 🍽️👇

The Basics (Quick + Useful)

  • Dates: January 20 – February 8, 2026
  • Days: Monday–Friday (Saturdays excluded, Sundays optional)
  • Tax & gratuity: not included
  • Pro tip: book early!

🍷 The Queensboro

Refined, relaxed, and quietly excellent

If you’ve lived in Jackson Heights for any amount of time, you already know The Queensboro. It’s the kind of place you suggest when you want something that feels special – but not precious.

For Restaurant Week, they’re offering a $45 dinner (including Sunday dinner, which is a big win).

JBS take: This is a textbook Restaurant Week menu – real choices and real portions. Perfect for a calm date night or a “let’s actually catch up” dinner.

🍝 Romeo’s Italian Restaurant

Old-school Italian comfort, Jackson Heights style

Romeo’s is that place you bring:

  • your parents
  • your in-laws
  • or yourself when you just want pasta and peace

For Restaurant Week, they’re offering both lunch and dinner, which already earns bonus points.

JBS’ take: This is a fantastic Restaurant Week option if you want maximum choice and classic Italian comfort. Great for lunch dates, family dinners, or when you want to leave very full and very happy.

Closing Thoughts

You don’t need dozens of options to have a great Restaurant Week.

You need a couple of solid neighborhood spots, good menus, and an easy walk home.

Jackson Heights delivers exactly that – with great options nearby if you feel like branching out.

Book early, go hungry, and support the local restaurants that make Queens (and Jackson Heights) what it is.

And if more Jackson Heights spots get announced?

We’ll keep this guide fresh. 🍽️💛

One Last Thing (Before You Book 👀)

If you’re heading out for NYC Restaurant Week in Jackson Heights – or honestly, any time – here are two extra ways to make it even better:

💸 Get Cash Back When You Dine (Seated)

I use Seated when I eat out locally, and it’s a no-brainer.

You get cash back at participating restaurants (including spots around Jackson Heights like THe Queensboro), which you can redeem for gift cards – think Amazon, Uber, Target, and more. There are a couple of other dining cashback apps out there, but this one is the best of them all.

🍽️ The Jackson Heights Dinner Club

If you like Restaurant Week because it gives you an excuse to actually go out – you’ll probably like this too.

The Jackson Heights Dinner Club is a super social, low-pressure way to meet more people in the neighborhood while eating at great local restaurants.

Here’s how it works:

  1. You fill out a quick questionnaire (dietary preferences, vibe, availability – nothing intense)
  2. You pay a small fee This just covers logistics and coordination (no upsells, no weirdness)
  3. We pair you into a small dinner group Matched with neighbors you’re likely to actually get along with
  4. You meet for dinner at a local restaurant – everyone’s there for the same reason
  5. We all meet up at a bar afterward 🍷 So groups can mingle, swap stories, and keep the night going

That’s it. Simple, social, and very Jackson Heights.

JBS take: It’s one of the nicest ways we’ve found to meet new people in the neighborhood – especially if you want something more meaningful than shouting over music or small talk at a crowded bar.

That’s it.

Book the table, support local, eat well – and maybe we’ll end up at the same spot. 🍷🍝
