La Esquina ¡Presente!

Mi gente! Welcome to another show of La Esquina ¡Presente! This time we are featuring the incredible community of Jackson Heights, Queens.

La Esquina ¡Presente! will be our usual affair, an inclusive space for Latine artists to share their work in whatever form it takes, with an emphasis on featuring the activist organizations doing the work and attempting to uplift our communities during these troubling political times! We are becoming a movable feast, finding spaces throughout all the Latine communities in the Tri-state area (and hopefully beyond!), for the opportunity to break bread across all of our diverse Latine communities with the hopes that a coalition of our people can rise up through the power of the arts.

With your host, Mario José Pagán Morales, we will be hosting at the spectacular BIPOC-owned bookstore, The World’s Borough Bookstore. Check-in time is 4:30p, and show will have a hard start at 5p!
